Start your creative project by painting the entire surface of the tray bowl in a delicate pastel olive green colour. This calming colour sets the perfect foundation for your spring decorations. Be sure to use even brush strokes to create a smooth and uniform layer.
Allow the paint to dry thoroughly before moving on to the next step to avoid colour smudging. After the base colour has dried, add special accents to your tray. Use a POSCA marker to emphasise the edges of the tray. The POSCA marker is a popular tool in crafting and art as it uses a water-based pigment ink that offers great coverage and durability. Draw even lines along the edges to give the bowl an elegant finish.
Now turn your attention to the bunny figures. Carefully paint the edges of the bunnies to emphasise details and give them character. The front of the bowl can also be decorated with creative patterns or motifs. These small, personal touches add personality and charm to your work.
Once the paint is completely dry, fill the bowl with wood wool. This natural material creates a cosy nest look and forms the perfect basis for placing the bunny figurines in an appealing way. Arrange the bunnies as you wish so that they take up their new home in the "nest".
To complete the picture, glue polystyrene eggs into the bowl. Use a hot glue gun to fix the eggs securely and durably in the wood wool. Be careful when handling the hot glue gun to avoid injury. These colourful eggs are a cheerful eye-catcher and round off the spring scene perfectly!
