Pouring fish

Start by mixing the "Raysin" casting powder with water to form a smooth, creamy mixture.
You will need around eight tablespoons of casting powder for a complete casting mould. Pour the mixture into the mould provided.
Tap the filled mould lightly on the table or on a flat surface. This causes any air bubbles trapped during the moulding process to rise and escape.
This also gives the surface of your moulding a nice smooth finish.

After about 30 minutes, you can carefully remove the cast fish from the mould. However, leave them to air dry for a further two hours to ensure optimum stability.
If there are any rough edges, you can gently smooth them out with sandpaper.

Now comes the creative part: paint the wooden tealight holders and some scatter decorations with colourful craft paints of your choice.
These colours will bring your arrangement to life and are perfect for celebrations such as communions, confirmations and christenings. Arrange the painted tealight holders on the table by first placing them on rustic tree discs.

Cut eucalyptus branches with a side cutter and place them decoratively around the tealight holders and place the moulded fish in this decoration. You can also add more moulded fish if you wish.

Artfully fold the napkins and plough them through the opening of the larger fish. Label the decoration pendants with a black pigment brush pen and tie them to the smaller moulded fish with some jute cord.

These "place cards" add a stylish touch to your table and will delight every guest.
