What is Stramin?
Stramin is a white fabric made of very even and tearproof Cotton yarn, fabric that is held together with a special water-soluble finish.
Stramin fabric is an ideal basis for cross-stitch embroidery and many other embroidery techniques. The fabric acts like a grid, which makes the embroidery particularly pleasant and even. When the work is finished, the finish can simply be dissolved in water and the individual stramin threads are pulled out of the embroidery.
